Ed has over 32 years of experience in the public accounting profession, 14 of which was with a national CPA firm and is currently the principal in charge of our accounting and auditing practice. After graduating from the University of Hawaii in 1974 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Ed received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Oregon State University in 1975. Ed's area of expertise includes not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, retailing, wholesaling, real estate, financial institutions, agriculture and manufacturing. Currently, Ed is a volunteer with the Aloha United Way in its allocations process; and has previously served on several Boards of Directors, including the boards of the Hawaii Community Services Council and the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Government Accountants.  Ed has recently taken on an advisory role with the firm.
